Saunderstown ADU

Working closely with the homeowners, I led the conversion of an existing garage into a thoughtfully planned ADU that supports comfortable multigenerational living. After retiring from the Navy, the homeowners purchased their home in North Kingstown, RI and envisioned relocating the wife’s parents to be closer while maintaining independence. We worked closely with the parents to understand their needs and preferences, shaping a space that is both functional and welcoming. The finished ADU balances privacy and connection, creating a warm, adaptable home that supports family living for years to come.
