“Going green is like protecting your health: it comes down to respecting the place you inhabit.”

Imagine a world where fighting dirt doesn’t mean we need to be breathing in harsh chemicals or endure watery burning eyes. Balanced Interiors promotes products that are naturally derived and biodegradable, clean well, smell fresh and leave nothing nasty in their wake to harm you or the environment. Cleaning should feel, smell and be good for you. Let me help you stock your new cabinets.

Personal Care

“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”
– Audrey Hepburn

People on average use nine personal care products each day. We assume they are safe and that there is some sort of government testing and regulation but that is not so. “…a cosmetic manufacturer may use almost any raw material as a cosmetic ingredient and market the product without an approval from FDA.” (FDA 2012) Personal care products are manufactured with 10,500 unique chemical ingredients, some of which are known or suspected carcinogens, toxic to the reproductive system or known to disrupt the endocrine system. Many of these products are restricted in Canada, Japan and the European Union.

It’s important to know what’s in the products you bring into your home and how those chemicals can affect your health and the environment. Balanced interiors provides consultations to help you make informed purchasing decisions, call or email me to set up an appointment.

Essential Oils

“The oils are beautiful and I am passionate about what I do because of what the oils do.”
– Gary Young, Founder of Young Living Essential Oils

Your home is the place where total wellness begins - from cooking and cleaning to personal care. Research studies have shown the positive effects of essential oils for a variety of health concerns including infections, pain, anxiety, depression, tumors, premenstrual syndrome, nausea, and many others. These healthy, natural and nontoxic plant extracts are a staple in my home that I'm proud to say I've been using in many different ways since 2008! Surround yourself with their clean, purifying fragrance and experience the benefits nature’s aromatics have to offer.
