Balanced Interiors

“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”
– Walt Disney

As founder and owner of my Interior Design company in Rhode Island - Balanced Interiors I firmly believe that surrounding yourself in an aesthetically pleasing environment is vitally important. The way we care for our homes and ourselves can largely impact our health and wellness. When we consciously choose to make our home a place of harmony, it becomes a haven that allows us to rejuvenate and relax from our hectic modern life. I help my clients design their homes and work place so that they are a reflection of who they are and how they want to live. My goal for each project is that the end result surpasses my clients’ expectations. I accomplish this through mindful communication with you, my professional expertise in the Interior Design industry and my commitment to being environmentally conscious. I believe we can make not just beautiful rooms but a beautiful world.

My style is about creating balance in a room while remaining mindful of one of my favorite sayings, “less is more”.  I strive to create visual interest by integrating natures’ beauty and elements into my designs. That means balancing the right amounts of textures, shapes and colors to create a smooth transition between our indoor and outdoor spaces. I feel being in tune with nature’s rhythms allows us to feel more in harmony with our homes and the world around us.

I’ve always loved transforming an ordinary space into an extraordinary one that I can call my own. I began my formal career in 2002 when I enrolled in RISD’s Interior Design Program later graduating as a certified Interior Designer. I’m a University of RI graduate with a dual degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Nutrition. The journey that led to Interior Design came naturally because it is what I love to do. I believe we are the architects of our own lives and can create anything we are passionate about. I’m grateful that Balanced Interiors has grown into the design company that I envisioned when I took that leap of faith and followed my heart.
